Fill-A-Stocking
First Grade Families,
Today you will be receiving a note about our holiday project. This year instead of a classroom git exchange we will be participating in a Salvation Army program called Fill-A-Stocking. This program collects filled stockings for needy children around the county. Attached is the note that came home today. Below is the Salvation Army’s suggested list items for the stockings. Thanks for your help on this awesome project of caring!
Suggested Items
Boy Stocking
Yo-yo, card games, learning flashcards, bouncy balls, matchbox cars, Disney movies, Silly Putty, hand held games, gift cards. We are not limited to these suggestions. The only rule the Salvation Army gives is that we do not include candy in the stockings due to unknown food allergies.
Girl Stockings
Hair accessories, earrings or jewelry, learning flashcards, Disney movies, My Little Pony, play make-up, lotion, body splash, soap, diary with pens, gift cards. We are not limited to these suggestions. The only rule the Salvation Army give is that we do not include candy due to unknown food allergies.
