Volunteering & Volunteer Students

Having a difficult time coming up with some New Year's resolutions for 2008?  Want to contribute more of your time, talents, or taschengeld to the National Park system but just don't know where to begin?

The following is a list of non-profit organizations whose primary purpose is to protect and restore areas of national significance associated with the National Park Service.   Getting involved and DOING is one of the best ways to acquire knowledge, learn new skills, and gain an appreciation of everything the National Parks have to offer us both now and in the future.

In upcoming articles during the remainder of December, I'll be featuring volunteer opportunities and organizations for kids, adults, and entire families for you to consider for the New Year.  Rev up those resolutions -- ideas are coming your way!
