Make it a date on Sunday
This Sunday, 30th March, the Nottinghamshire Black Partnership is playing host to not one, but two, very special events.
Firstly, forget the Oscars, the V Awards are the place to be seen! Designed to recognise the contribution that Black and Minority Ethnic volunteers make to the community, the awards will recognise the hard work and enthusiasm of the county's many tireless volunteers and celebrate the difference that volunteers in general make to society.
Secondly, we're also holding a very special healthy living event on Sunday, where you can come along and pick up loads of great hints and tips on any aspect of healthy living from the professionals. Plus they'll be lots of stalls and demonstrations from people including henna artists and local jewelry makers.
And, just in case you need anymore persuading - Desi Express is providing lunch so you won't even have to worry about making Sunday dinner!
Both events are on from 12pm-4pm at our new offices: 3rd Floor, Lace Market House, 54-56 High Pavement, Lace Market, Nottingham. See you there!
