AFFORDABLE HOUSING
Mayor Fenty wants to allocate $117 million new revenue annually for affordable housing in D.C. The outlined plan states that "30 percent of new housing units built on city-owned land must be affordable for low-income residents" and calls for a partnership with the interfaith network to produce 5,000 homes.
