26 May

sunday six - 5.25

Sweet Moses! The Memorial crowd exceeded our expectations and the energy for a holiday weekend was amazing. GFC gets better every week.

New Volunteers
The fifth "T" was Talent. We focused on Matthew 25 and discussed how important it is for us to be wise stewards with our talents and volunteering at Gateway. 41 volunteers seized the opportunity and signed up to join one of our volunteer teams once or twice a month. The body of Christ is getting stronger and there is an opportunity for everyone part of the Gateway fam to volunteer! Click here to see the opportunities.

Behind the Scenes - Volunteer Video
The production team has a big vision to creatively use graphics, video, and sound to further the kingdom of God. Great job on putting together our volunteer video that can be watched by clicking here.

Now Serving
Kim Young and Mike Van Cleve knocked one out of the park as they both used their talents for drama. It was hilarious and excellent! Well, everything except for the Longhorns comment. Mike just moved here from Cabot, Arkansas and wore his Hogs T-shirt. I can't get away from these lunatic Razorback fans.

Conversation with Sonia
We have been praying about starting our church with a foundation that could engage and serve our community. Sonia has an incredible story and blew me away with her passion to write grants and help tutor children in need. Be praying for us because God is up to something BIG!

Lunch at Chilies
Almost a month ago, one of my friends invited a precious family to our church. The Campbells are now part of our fellowship team and we discovered that they not only are an amazing family, but have mad talents in music. We laughed and cried during lunch hearing their stories. Mandy's twin sister and brother-n-law joined us too. They will play during the offering this Sunday and play with the worship band too. You can listen to the Cloud's Cry unique sound by clicking here. Always Keep Me Near is my fav.

Family Hang Out
O.K. It is time to move our monthly family hang out at the Tri-Soloers courts to 6 p.m. Hot has a new meaning. Peter and Bino brought the thunder with a new spiritual gift - bbq'ing. We had a lot of fun playing basketball and Volleyball. The guys were given lessons by Dante who is only a sophmore in high school, but plain sick. Spurs win big putting a bookend to a nearly perfect day!
