Volunteer for Children of Children’s Future in Tanzania
When people hear about street children or children that have dropped out of school, they often have misconceptions. These are children who were born of parents, loved and cherished at one time, but now are in the most desperate of situations. With a number of helping hands, we can help restore their health, self-respect and lives back to what they once had been. Our work is difficult and hectic, but not impossible. And with the help of those that care, it offers rewards for all. Helping get the children who have been orphaned or discarded off the streets is a civil society responsibility. Due to the high number of deaths of middle-aged adults from HIV/AIDS, and the extreme poverty many of these families face, the numbers of children that have been forced to leave home and school for a life on the streets is increasing at an alarming rate. Volunteers must be of age 18 or above with minimum education of high school.
